After growing up in the Southeast, I moved to Richardson to start high school, and graduated from Richardson High. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher; as a teen, I had the chance to volunteer at a private school for students with Cerebral Palsy. That experience taught me how interesting and exciting it was to work with students with additional challenges.
