Who We Serve
Vanguard Preparatory School, the leading therapeutic school in DFW, is dedicated to meeting the unique requirements of individuals with special needs. Our therapy team comprises seven full-time clinicians who are supported by a community clinical advisory board. Our unwavering commitment to our students extends beyond our campus, fostering partnerships with private therapists, physicians, outpatient programs, residential treatment facilities, and camping experiences through a partnership with Momentous Institute. Most importantly, our core dedication centers on supporting and collaborating with the families of our students. We cater to a diverse array of learners across the Dallas region, including those with learning differences, autism spectrum disorder, speech-language deficits, sensory sensitivities, developmental delays, and various social and emotional disorders.
Autism Spectrum
At Vanguard Preparatory School, we provide a highly individualized, therapeutic educational environment for students across the autism spectrum, particularly those with Level 1 and Level 2 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These students may experience challenges with communication, sensory integration, executive functioning, and social engagement.
Whether a student is navigating peer relationships, regulating sensory input, or developing executive functioning skills, our goal is to empower them with the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially.
