Post-Graduation Activities:

After graduating from Vanguard, Cooper attended a technical college where he worked to receive his plumbing license. For six years he worked in plumbing and general maintenance at a church before taking some time off. In his spare time, he likes to watch funny videos on YouTube. 

What is your favorite thing about Vanguard?

The opportunity to do a woodworking class was my favorite thing about Vanguard. One of my favorite memories was building birdhouses with Mr. Dave. Measuring, cutting the wood with the chop saw, and using the nail gun to put it together.

Were there any teachers or staff members that made a special impact on you?

Cooper spoke very highly of his experiences with Mr. Dave. He also has a very close relationship with his mother and Vanguard math teacher, Beth Trout!

Is there any advice you would give to current or future Vanguard students?

Life goes by quickly, don’t let your fear paralyze you, seize the moment and take the chance.
