The How and Why of What We Do – Vanguard 101

Vanguard 101 is an orientation to the why and how of what we do. This introduction gives students and families the foundational language and knowledge to dive into the Vanguard culture and community. The journey begins with learning about safe relationships and the Five Pillars of Social Emotional Learning. Vanguard 101 is the first step in building trust between students, teachers and families. From this foundation of trust everything else is built, thus the name Vanguard 101. This is a basic overview of concepts and vocabulary to be used as we embark on this journey.
