Post-Graduation Activities:

Katie graduated from Vanguard in 2015 and is now working at Howdy Homemade Ice Cream. “It gives me a sense of purpose”, says Katie! When Katie is not working, she enjoys hanging out with friends and watching either crime shows or ABC World News with David Muir.

What is your favorite thing about Vanguard?

I love that Vanguard is a real school!

Were there any teachers or staff members that made a special impact on you?

Katie mentioned that some of the teachers that made a special impact on her while a student at Vanguard was Beth Trout, Stephanie James, Dave Welsh, and Miss V. “But all the teachers were very good at their jobs!” 

Is there any advice you would give to current or future Vanguard students?

Make the effort to make friends and you’ll have a good experience.
