Nico Trevino

Post-Graduation Activities:

Nico graduated from Vanguard in 2015 and then attended Dallas College – Cedar Valley, where he graduated in 2017. He then went on to attend the University of Texas at Dallas where he graduated in 2020. Nico’s goal is to establish a career in video game design as he really enjoys coding and gaming. In fact, he is now working on developing his own app, a word game called WordZerds.

How did Vanguard help prepare you for life after graduation?

One thing Vanguard taught me was perseverance. 

Do you have any significant Vanguard memories you would like to share?

Nico stated that his favorite memories from Vanguard were during his senior year. “It was a great time, and I really bonded with my friends and the staff!”

Were there any teachers or staff members that made a special impact on you?

All of the Vanguard staff helped me a lot with my social skills and just being able to converse with other people.
