The Vanguard Vikings are embarking on another adventure this fall with a high school soccer team. After two games, the Vikings are 2 and 0! Led by senior captains Wade Sharrock and Dwight Clasby, our 11-man squad has powered through the competition with a combined score of 16 to 2!! With a mixture of experienced players and newcomers to the sport, our soccer team members are learning valuable lessons such as team work, responsibility, and sportsmanship.
The level of pride and enthusiasm of our players is fantastic to see! The team embraces the role of representing Vanguard outside of the school and loves being role models for our younger students. The entire school eagerly cheers their fellow Vikings own during our all school pep rallies! The way the players support each other shows their growth as young men. It’s truly an amazing privilege to be involved with the young men on our soccer team.
